Users and permissions
Three roles. The owner hands out the other two under Config → Users, and decides which venues each person works.
| Owner | Admin | Manager | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Venues they see | all | the ones they were given | the ones they were given |
| Orders, invoices, reports, closes | yes | yes | yes |
| Asking the assistant | yes | yes | yes |
| Name, timezone, currency, shifts, capture mode | yes | in their venues | no |
| Till keys | yes | in their venues | no |
| Turning the assistant on, and its limits | yes | in their venues | no |
| Choosing the model that answers | yes | no | no |
| Raising the token ceiling past the installation’s | yes | no | no |
| The model key, the POS catalogue, the people | yes | no | no |
| Creating and deleting venues | yes | no | no |
An admin or manager with no venues assigned signs in and sees nothing: access is given by ticking venues, never inherited.
The first account of an installation owns it, and there is exactly one: the database refuses a second.
